En enero de 1991, Pere Formiguera comenzó el proyecto Cronos: fotografiar mensualmente a treinta y dos personas que le son próximas y cuyas edades al comienzo del trabajo oscilaban entre los dos y los setenta y cinco años. Para diciembre de 2000, treinta de los retratados habian completado la primera fase del proyecto. Aquí se representan sesenta y cuatro fotos de Pau (en Chico) y Julia (en Chica) con un lapso medio de diez semanas entre cada toma.
