Richard Gwyn (Pontypool, Gales, 1956) es poeta, narrador, ensayista y traductor. Estudió antropología en la London School of Economics y vivió en la capital británica durante siete años. Luego, en su labor periodística incluye colaboraciones frecuentes en el diario The Independent, fundamentalmente a propósito de literatura latinoamericana y española. En años recientes, Gwyn ha desarrollado su carrera como traductor de poesía y cuentos de autores latinoamericanos.
