Synopsis "COLECCIÓN MITOLOGÍA CLASICA T12 ORFEO Y EURIDICE (in Spanish)"

Orfeo llegó a Tracia y conoció a la ninfa Eurídice. Se enamoraron y se casaron. Pero, al poco tiempo del matrimonio, Eurídice fue al bosque y mientras caminaba se topó con un cazador que perseguía un ciervo. Al ver que se trataba de una ninfa, el cazador le exigió que le dijera por dónde se había ido el pequeño ciervo, pero Eurídice se negó y este la mato. La noticia de la muerte de Eurídice llenó de dolor a Orfeo y siguiendo los consejos de los dioses decidió bajar al inframundo para buscar a su amor. El músico tocó su lira y Caronte lo dejó entrar. Luego le contó su historia a Perséfone, reina del inframundo, y esta conmovida le permitió rescatar a Eurídice y volver con ella al mundo de los vivos.
