Special Agent Koi Blackthorn is tracking a serial killer who is kidnapping young women all over the south. She gets introduced to Jordan Matthews a homicide detective from the New Orleans Police department. They piece the clues together, which leads them to the real killer.Jordan is tasked with getting background info on one of the suspected victims, a former student at LSU who went there at the same time as Jordan. He is involved in his own case, a murder of two New Orleans residents, murdered by a cousin of the male victim after he refused to push drugs for the cousin at LSU. His case involves a conspiracy with a Mexican drug lord.Their cases become entangled once Jordan and Kio become lovers. Kio believes one of Jordan's former professors at LSU is the serial killer, but the clues come from the real killer, throwing the whole case into chaos. Finally with the help of an eccentric FBI hacker, Kio finds the real clues and uncovers a secret graveyard with past victims. Jordan joins the search and together they uncover the killers hidden house which is used to keep the young victims before they are murdered and eventually taken to their finally resting place, the abandon graveyard.
