He aquí una excelente obra del escritor inglés John Milton (1608 - 1674), Areopagítica. Se trata de un opúsculo de protesta contra la censura de prensa impuesta por la dictadura de Oliverio Cromwell. Si bien a John Milton se le conoce especialmente por su poema épico El Paraíso Perdido, también destaca por obras como la que el lector posee en sus manos. Obras como ésta, son un ejemplo de la lucha de Milton contra el poder construido, y hacen de él, con todo merecimiento, un forjador de la libertad.
