El manga de Dragon Ball Super empez a publicarse en Japn en paralelo al anime, en junio de 2015. Desde entonces sale un nuevo captulo cada mes en la revista V-Jump. Esta cadencia extremadamente lenta para quien est acostumbrado a los mangas de la Shonen Jump hace que cada tomo salga con bastante distancia de tiempo respecto al anterior, pero esto a su vez asegura que la calidad del producto final sea impecable. En este caso, la realizacin y dibujo est a cargo de Toyotaro, quien con su dedicacin logra que la diferencia de dibujo con Akira Toriyama sea casi imperceptible, aunque siempre hay que tener en cuenta que el propio Toriyama autoriza y supervisa cada vieta que vern impresa. Como resultado tenemos una versin mucho ms prolija, concisa y dinmica de la historia de DB Super.
