Synopsis "El Loco / el Vagabundo (in Spanish)"

El loco (1918) es una de las obras más celebradas de Khalil Gibrán (1883-1931), el famoso poeta libanés autor de El Profeta. En él se reúnen buena parte de las palabras y poemas que publicó por primera vez en inglés. “En mi locura he hallado la libertad y la seguridad; la libertad de la soledad y la seguridad de no ser comprendido, pues quienes nos comprenden esclavizan una parte de nuestro ser”. El vagabundo (1932) fue publicado después de la muerte de Gibrán. Lo dio a conocer Barbara Young, la biógrafa del autor. Contiene una serie de relatos, parábolas o fábulas con enseñanzas morales implícitas, al estilo de La Fontaine.
