Synopsis "El Naranjo que se Murió de Tristeza (Alandar) (in Spanish)"

Dos historias paralelas desarrollan la acción en un pequeño pueblo del levante que vive del cultivo de la naranja: el presente, en el que Ali, la sobrina de la tata Josefa, tiene que adaptarse a la separación de sus padres; y el pasado, del que Josefa cuenta a Ali su amistad y complicidad con Lucrecia, así como sus escapadas a ver a dos presos que barren las calles del pueblo y que identifica con su padre y su tío pero sin conocer con certeza quién es quién. El mismo naranjo, en el que se refugió de niña para vigilar el trabajo de los presos, es el que ahora (en el presente de la narración) se está muriendo. Un mismo lugar para reencontrarse con sus progenitores perdidos.
