Benji Davies es ilustrador, autor y director de animación. Estudió animación en la universidad, donde aprendió a contar historias con imágenes, desde cortometrajes y videos musicales, hasta libros ilustrados.

Su primer libro ilustrado The Storm Whale ganó el premio inaugral Oscar's Book y fue Dutch Picture Book of the Year 2017.
