Synopsis "Historia de la Revolución Rusa. Tomo i (in Spanish)"

(1879-1940) Fue un político ruso, teórico y marxista revolucionario. Desde muy joven se involucró en las luchas de su pueblo en su natal Ucrania. A los 19 años abrazó las ideas marxistas. Participó en la Revolución de 1905 y en las de Febrero y Octubre de 1917. Con ocasión de esta última, se unió a Lenin y a los bolcheviques, y tuvo destacada participación durante la insurrección misma, dirigiendo, como miembro del Comité Militar Revolucionario, las operaciones que llevaron a los bolcheviques al poder. Formó y dirigió el Ejército Rojo, al frente del cual logró la victoria en la guerra civil (1918-1923). Inspiró, junto a Lenin, la formación de la III Internacional, redactando sus principales documentos y declaraciones.
