Synopsis "Idus de Sangre (in Spanish)"

"Poco antes de los idus de marzo de 44 a C., Marco Cornelio, veterano de la legión X
(la favorita de Julio César durante sus campañas en La Galia), escucha por azar, en
la taberna que regenta, a dos reputados senadores conspirar contra la vida de su
idolatrado y amado general. Se trata de dos antiguos lugartenientes de César,
Marco Trebonio y Décimo Junio Bruto.
Llega a oídos de Marco Antonio, al corriente de la conjura, la intención del
tabernero de avisar a César. A partir de entonces se desencadena una trama
trepidante que cambia la vida de Marco Cornelio y su familia.
A través de estos personajes de ficción, el autor narra el transcurrir de los
acontecimientos que llevaron al poder absoluto al primer emperador de Roma,
Octavio Augusto; y a la tragedia a los conspiradores y al propio Marco Antonio.
