Sigue existiendo y oprimiendo a pueblos y naciones, sembrando a su paso dolor, destrucción y muerte. Pese a los cambios, el imperialismo conserva su identidad y estructura. Esta continuidad de los parámetros fundamentales del imperialismo es ignorada en la obra de Hardt y Negri. Con este libro pretendemos demostrar que, así como las murallas de Jericó no se derrumbaron con el sonido de las trompetas de Josué, la realidad del imperio tampoco se desvanece ante las fantasías de los filósofos.
