Synopsis "Incesto (in Spanish)"

Esta novela breve, inédita hasta hoy en castellano, fue escrita por Sá-Carneiro (1890-1916) cuando apenas contaba 21 años de edad, y vio la luz en 1912, en el volumen titulado Principio. En Incesto, Sá-Carneiro despliega ya las dotes literarias que desarrollará en el resto de su obra, especialmente en El cielo en llamas y La confesión de Lucio. Como en el resto de su obra narrativa, la brevedad va aquí unida a la intensidad y a una visión del mundo que fue la de su autor, en la que confluyen un intenso torrente vital con el drama que transformará la vida del protagonista; y la sensualidad, tan presente en la obra de Sá, con la muerte, que tan pronto troncaría su vida.
