Synopsis "Jorge Peña hen (1928-1973) Músico, Maestro y Humanista Mártir (in Spanish)"

En el contexto del bullente movimiento musical que vivió Chile hacia 1940, un joven provinciano ingresa al Conservatorio Nacional, y con 18 años de edad comienza a dar muestras de la multifacética vocación artística que marcaría su vida: como instrumentista, en el piano, el violín y el cello; como compositor; como director de orquesta y de coros; como organizador de conjuntos musicales y de presentación de obras; como pedagogo lleno de mística. A los 45 años de edad, la vida y la fecunda obra de ese hombre fueron segadas. El 16 de septiembre de 1973, sin ningún tipo de juicio, el maestro, el músico, caía fusilado junto a otros catorce prisioneros en la primera jornada de la Caravana de la Muerte, misión criminal que iba a dejar una estela de horror y que acabaría con la vida de más de setenta personas en el norte del país. Ese hombre joven, músico y militante de la vida era Jorge Peña Hen. Ésta es su historia.
