A prisoner is offered the option of serving a lifetime sentence in prison or at a zoo as part of an experiment. He chooses the zoo. There he has all of luxuries one can hope for, but he must stay inside his cage. He becomes the center of attraction to zoo visitors, the media, and scientists, and begins to develop friendships with those that form part of his everyday life.
