Eulalia vive en un faro con su padre, pescador, y su abuela, que le explica que el viento sopla entre las casas y se lleva los recuerdos olvidados más allá del horizonte. Allí, la isla de los recuerdos los guarda para siempre. Un día, la abuela también empieza a perder la memoria. Y Eulalia, con la abuela a su lado, inicia un viaje mar adentro para recuperarla. Pero para llegar a la isla habrán de cruzar a la otra mitad del mar, donde navegan los piratas de recuerdos. El viaje supondrá mucho más de lo que Eulalia se había imaginado.
