Synopsis "La Poética Visual de Vicente Huidobro (in Spanish)"

Rosa Sarabia realiza un completo estudio sobre la poesía visual del poeta chileno centrándose en Japonerías de estío (Canciones en la noche, 1913), Tour Eiffel (1918; libro en colaboración con Robert Delaunay) y en los poemas pintados por el mismo Huidobro para la exposición Salle 14 (Paris 1922). A partir de la actual teoría visual y de la crítica genética textual, se estudian estas, prácticas intermediales como una reflexión sobre la escritura tanto en su rasgo material como en su condición de sistema de diferencias, así como sobre los modos de representación de la imagen visual y poética, y sobre la referencialidad del signo. Sarabia logra desentrañar la profunda remodelación de las relaciones entre escritura e imagen, espacio y tiempo, modernidad y originalidad, así como del estatus del objeto estético en estos poemas de Huidobro.
