Alberto Carpio (Sevilla, 1983) ha publicado Los comensales (XII Premio Internacional de Poesía Emilio Prados, Pre-Textos, 2012). Desde el 2014 reside enNueva York, adonde llegó para realizar un máster de escritura creativa en NYU, durante el que escribió Los privilegios reales. Actualmente trabaja en su doctorado en Columbia University.
