En su novela Minimal Bildung (2001), Jorge Ferrer llegó, por una vía muy distinta, a un parecido ejercicio de extrañamiento. Remontando la línea de la novela cubana erudita, multirreferencial, a lo Lezama o a lo Sarduy, Ferrer desembocó en una radical ficción del exilio. Rafael RojasJorge Ferrer (La Habana, 1967) es escritor, traductor y editor. Es responsable, entre otras, de ediciones de Tristán de Jesús Medina, Pablo de la Torriente Brau y José María Chacón y Calvo. Ha traducido del ruso a Iván Bunin, Svetlana Aleksiévich, Alexandr Herzen y Mijaíl Kuráyev. En 2014 recibió de la Fundación Borís Yeltsin el Premio La literatura en España, e integró la Short List del Premio Read Russia a la mejor traducción de literatura rusa del año. Reside en Barcelona.
