Synopsis "Nadie es Culpable (in Spanish)"

Fue con la novela negra con la que alcanzó el máximo reconocimiento, siendo considerado como uno de los mejores escritores italianos del género. Su primera novela negra fue "Sei giorni di preavviso" (1940), pero el verdadero éxito le llegó con la serie que tiene como protagonista a Duca Lamberti, un médico que, tras cumplir prisión por practicar la eutanasia, se dedica luego a la investigación privada en colaboración con la policía; especialmente con el inspector Carrua. La primera obra en la que hace aparición este detective es "Venere privata" (1966). En 1968 le fue concedido el prestigioso premio francés Grand Prix de littérature a la mejor novela extrajera por "Traidore a tutti". Un año después, en octubre de 1969, falleció en Milán. En su memoria, el premio más prestigioso de novela negra italiana lleva su nombre.
