He talked about his many lives and near-death experiences—eight to be exact.Peanut feels lost and sad when separated from his mother and siblings at six weeks old and adopted by a young lady. But when Peanut meets Cripp, an old stray cat, he quickly cheers up. Cripp's stories of adventure capture Peanut's imagination. He learns that life is about more than laying around and eating cat chow. When Peanut gets lost in the Duck Pond RV Park, he calls upon Cripp’s stories of survival. There’s the time Badger the stray attacked Cripp and tried to steal his food. Or, when Cripp goes to Fight Night and weasels his way out of a fight with the junkyard dogs. There’s also the time Cripp fought Rabid Raccoon. With the help of Cripp’s adventures Peanut is able to escape the Duck Pond RV Park and make it back home.Peanut the Cat Tells His Tale over the course of a year as he makes new friends, learns how to be a cat, and has many adventures trying to find his way back home.
