Estas son las preguntas que se abordan en este libro. Normalmente se dice que durante la campaña los electores se animan a votar, refuerzan su voto o lo cambian. En este trabajo, en una perspectiva comparada, además se argumenta que hay personas que dejan de ir a votar, precisamente, por la campaña electoral. Se demuestra que a algunas elites políticas les interesa o buscan esta desactivación aunque no lo hagan explícito y, en algunos casos, lo nieguen.Do all election campaigns have the same impact on citizens? This book also argues that there are people who decide not to vote precisely because of the election campaign.
