El 18 de octubre comenzó en Chile una revolución
popular que puso fin al desarrollo descarnado y sin
límites de la hegemonía neoliberal de medio siglo en
el país, y dio paso a una Convención Constitucional
para la redacción de una nueva carta magna. En
medio de la represión del Estado, ejercida por
militares y policías, surgió la "Primera Línea", un grupo
de personas de distintas edades y orígenes que se
enfrentó a estas fuerzas, muchas veces arriesgando
su integridad física y su vida, para proteger a la
población civil que se manifestaba pacíficamente por
cambios y justicia social. El presente libro es un registro fotográfico de lo que fue la participación y
el aporte de este grupo al "Estallido chileno" del 18-O.
