En este libro el autor se cuestiona el papel de la intelectualidad crítica estadounidense, se plantea prioridades en el campo de la ética política y hace una reflexión acerca de una necesaria alternativa que pueda encauzar la podredumbre estructural que amenaza al imperio y, por extensión, al mundo.
