Aníbal Nuñez, (Salamanca 1944-1987). Poeta, pintor, grabador, traductor. Estudió Filología Moderna en la Universidad de Salamanca, y se formó en la Escuela de Nobles y Bellas Artes de San Eloy, y en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios. Escribió numerosos libros de poesía, y dejó una obra pictórica no menos abundante. Nos hayamos ante un hombre sumamente culto que sabía expresarse en dos lenguajes artísticos, uno plástico y otro poético, con gran soltura y conocimiento, y que supo reconocer en la traducción el mejor ejercicio para desarrollar la capacidad técnica del poeta.
