Escritor, publicista y periodista, César Mallorquí es un reconocido autor dedicado a la literatura infantil y juvenil.

Hijo del conocido autor del Coyote, José Mallorquí, inició su carrera como periodista en la Cadena Ser antes de trabajar como creativo en varias agencias de publicidad.

Actualmente se dedica por completo a la literatura juvenil y a la novela negra. En su producción habría que destacar títulos como Las lágrimas de Shiva, La puerta de Agartha o El círculo de Jericó.

Mallorquí ha ganado numerosos premios, tanto en cuento corto como en novela. Entre ellos podríamos nombrar el Alberto Magno, el Domingo Santos, el UPC, el Ignotus -estos dentro del relato de ciencia ficción- y en literatura juvenil el Premio EDEBÉ o el Gran Angular, además del reconocimiento del Premio Nacional de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil de 2013.
