Enriqueta is always very well dressed, and Gabriel is something of a dandy. They don’t know each other, but they both love buying coats. One day, after each has purchased a brand new coat, disaster strikes for both of them: a button falls off of each of their coats! Enriqueta travels the city looking for her button, to no avail. Gabriel can’t find his either. They each find a different button, however, and sew it onto their respective jackets. One day, they’re both at a restaurant, and from across the room they notice that they have each other's buttons—and so their love story begins.
