Synopsis "Vanitas (in Spanish)"

Sam Solomon se ve envuelto en una trama de confusiones y añoranzas desde el momento en que descubre el deslumbrante dibujo erótico colgado en el apartamento de un marchante de arte enfermo. Éste le ha contratado para que escriba sus memorias y aunque consigue ocultar información crucial acerca de su vida, Sam sospecha sin e embargo que el dibujo titulado Vanitas tiene un amaga historia y que contiene respuestas a ciertos misterios sobre la vida del marchante: la historia de un trágico romance, el destino del artista que realizó el dibujo y los hechos que rodearon la autentificación falsa de una pintura francesa del siglo XIX que estuvo a punto de costarle al artista su carrera.
