A prostitute, drawing water at Jacob’s Well, gives a tired traveller a drink, and he tells her that the water he would give her would live within her and change her life. She fetches everyone to meet this Man. She knows he is the Messiah! His Name is Jesus. So many people today don’t know who Jesus is and have no Bibles in their homes to read and find out. Sonia Coldicutt, recently retired from teaching, experienced the New Birth herself and this is what inspired her to write WELL OF LIVING WATER, The Story of a Man who was God. She takes the reader on a journey through the Gospels, and intersperses it with nuggets of Jewish history. You will find the Parables retold in today’s language, and now and then she drops in a modern parable. Jesus was a wonderful story teller and hey! we all like a good story ourselves. Once this happens then Eternity is the next stop! Sonia Coldicutt spent her formative years in the countryside, and is married to a farmer/grower. They live ‘just under Exmoor’ in the South West of England, and are enjoying retirement while their family continues sheep farming.
