Jessica Elder

Welcome to my page! Thank you so much for considering my book. I am a mother of four, a writer, and a licensed clinical social worker. I wrote my first book, "My Milk Will Go, Our Love Will Grow", while nursing my second baby in 2016 and reflecting on the emotional experience of weaning. The purpose of my book is to acknowledge the feelings of both mothers and children during the process. I loved being able to use my professional experience while writing it. I have spent many years as a child therapist, play therapist, and grief counselor.

I live in Arizona and my favorite activities are walking, running, biking, and hiking with my family. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and I also spent 8 exciting years living in New York. In the future, I hope to continue writing more books and plan to continue practicing as a therapist and social worker. Thank you for your support!
