Luis María Pescetti, born in Argentina in 1958, is a distinguished writer, musician, and actor specialized in children's and youth literature. Throughout his career, he has published more than thirty books that combine humor, philosophy, and a playful approach in dialogue. "Little Red Riding Hood as Told to Jorge" received the National Honor Award for Children's Literature in Argentina, the ALIJA Award for best book, and the "The White Ravens 1998" award given by the Internationale Jugendbibliothek in Germany. Additionally, his "Frin" book series has been widely praised in the field of youth literature.
Pescetti has been awarded numerous international prizes, including the Casa de las Américas Prize in 1997 for his novel "The Citizen of My Shoes" and the Latin Grammy for Best Children's Music Album in 2010.
