Pilar Herce
Pilar Herce Palomares is a Spanish general health psychologist, specialized in high abilities and talent development. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Valencia and has a master's degree in Innovation and Research in Education, for which she received an extraordinary award. She is currently a PhD candidate at the UNED, where she researches talent in STEM areas (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Additionally, she is the founder and director of the Programa Despierta network of centers, aimed at developing talent in children with high abilities.
In 2022, she co-wrote with Carolina Laguna the children's book "Neuricuentos: A Universe Inside Me", illustrated by Jesús López Pastor. This work belongs to the genre of children's literature and is part of the "Neuricuentos" collection, which aims to bring concepts of neurodiversity to the youngest.
