James Binney

James Binney is a British theoretical physicist and astrophysicist, known for his academic work in galactic dynamics and computational physics. He co-authored, with Scott Tremaine, the influential treatise Galactic Dynamics (1987; second edition in 2008), widely considered a reference in its field.
