Jacques Ellun
Jacques Ellul (1912-1994) was a French philosopher, sociologist, and theologian, known for his profound critique of modern technological society. Born in Bordeaux, he spent much of his academic life exploring how technique influences social and cultural structures. Besides his academic work, Ellul was a prominent member of the French Protestant community.

Among his most influential works is The Technological Society (1954), where he analyzes the impact of technology on human life. In Propaganda: The Formation of Men's Attitudes (1962), he examines how media shapes public opinion. Another notable work is The Subversion of Christianity (1984), where he reflects on the relationship between the Christian faith and contemporary society. These publications, belonging to the genre of sociological and theological essay, have been fundamental in understanding the dynamics between technology, society, and religion.
