Robert Cecil Martín

Robert Cecil Martin (known as Uncle Bob), is an American software engineer and author, who runs a consulting firm called Uncle Bob Consulting LLC and Clean Coders, which hosts videos based on his experiences and books. He was the editor of the C++ Report magazine and the first chairman of the Agile Alliance. In 1991, Martin founded Object Mentor, now defunct, which provided courses in Xtreme Programming methodology. He is one of the main founders of agile methods, author of "clean code". Martin advocates for movements such as software craftsmanship, agile software development, and test-driven development.
